Background
After 9 years of experience with Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and the Auditor General of Canada, Nabil started his own firm. In addition to being a Chartered Accountant, Nabil holds a Masters of Professional Accounting degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.
Nabil is a member in good standing with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada, British Columbia and Alberta. He has extensive experience serving both large, medium and small corporations and their shareholders, including individuals. The firm, however, focuses primarily on small to medium sized owner-manager businesses and individuals.
Nabil started his own Chartered Accounting firm in order to incorporate philosophies in client service and staff retention that he believes are integral to his profession and in serving the public interest effectively. In this respect, Nabil will personally perform exit meetings with all of his corporate clients to ensure they not only meet their statutory requirements and minimize their tax liability but also understand what happened during the year and how they can improve their performance and financial picture on a go forward basis. Client questions are encouraged and effectively responded to with attention to educating clients and ensuring they understand the implications of their future and past business decisions and alternatives. Clients, employees, consultants and all with whom the firm interacts and transacts with are treated with integrity and fairness with an open – consultative approach.
Nabil has had extensive experience in serving clients from a vast array of industries, including but not limited to professional service corporations including lawyers, doctors, dentists, chiropractors and architects, internet and IT companies, telecommunications , real-estate development, retail, manufacturing, construction, landscaping, advertising, distribution, oil and gas, start-ups, entertainment and aerospace.
Outside of the office, Nabil enjoys spending time with his family. He further enjoys, greatly, the outdoors and exercising.
His focus in life is to make the world a better place, through his service to his clients, family and community. He is a member of the Baha’i community and believes that all people originate from One Source and are purposed for unity.
